Collelungo

Collelungo, It belonged to the plebato  of Izzalini and was a fortified castle; in the 1297 taken to part to the defense of the castle of Pompognano, where the Orvieto’s peoples  were defeats from the Todi in 1252 year

The inhabitants of Collelungo were vassalli of Todi and they were taken care, of the defense of the step of the Morre ; in the wars between Guelfi and Ghibellines, the city it was more times attacked from the Ghibelline Aribello Chiaravalle.

In the 1571 the population of Collelungo was of 185 persons, of which 46 children;  to the inside of the castle there was a hospital.  The last getlteman of Collelungo was conte the Morelli from Todi

Collelungo , apparteneva al plebato di Izzalini ed era un castello fortificato; nel 1297 prese parte alla difesa del castello  di Pompognano ,dove gli  Orvietani furono sconfitti dai Todini nel1252. 

Gli abitanti di Collelungo erano vassalli  di Todi  e si occupavano, della difesa del passo delle Morre ; nelle guerre tra guelfi e ghibellini , la città fu più volte attaccata dal ghibellino Aribello Chiaravalle

Nel 1571 la popolazione di Collelungo era di 185 persone, di cui 46 fanciulli ; all'interno del castello c'era un ospedale  . L'ultimo signore di Collelungo fu il conte Morelli di Todi
